The Crescent

Originally known as Richmond Place, The Crescent is a street in Limerick, located at one end of O'Connell Street, and is one of the highlights of Georgian architecture in Limerick. The area takes its name from the shape of the terraced buildings on both sides, and the two sides combined give the street a distinctive crescent oval shape.
